I was taking 50mg qd losartan. doctor increased it to 100mg qd but my bp seems to have gone up rather than down. how can this be possible?! thank you.

Wait, reassess: If BP increases despite change in the dose of the meds, it indicates -- resistance to med, increased salt intake, need for another meds to act in a different pathway most often, it is increased salt intake that causes resistance or too soon to assess the change in bp.
