The juncture: Of the stomach to the esophageal remnant is called the anastamosis. Esoph cancer needs to be assessed by esophagoscopy, ultrasund and biopsy. Would be useful to know pre-op stage, treatment and margins of resection. Start where he got his treatment, but consider a visit to nci designated center.
