120 dB, unlikely: A typical balloon pop has a loudness of 120db, but only lasts for a few milliseconds. While a noise this loud can indeed cause nerve damage if if goes on for longer than a few seconds, the extremely brief duration of a balloon pop makes it very unlikely to cause any long-term effect.
