Pea sized fleshy sort of lump on pubic area. it is underneath the skin and not painful at all, i do shave and wondering if i need to get this checked?

Probable cyst: There are a number of conditions that cause lumps and bumps to appear on the surface of the skin or just below the skin. The most common are skin cysts and epidermoid cysts (aka sebaceous cysts) which is consistent with what you are describing. As long as "lump" is not painful and not changing in size and appearance, would just observe and have your doctor check it at your next routine visit.
