A member asked:

Small pea sized lump under skin by left elbow. not painful, moves around a bit when pushed on, not rock hard but not mushy. not sure how long it has been there. what is it likely to be?

Doctor can evaluate: A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can evaluate to see what the bump is, and to start treatment if any is needed. Bumps are hard to describe in words. Bumps that start itching and enlarge after being scratched may contain some histamine, which gets released from the scratching. A bump that moves with skin and doesn't ever change much can be a mole or a tiny skin cyst (like a comedone issue).
