See answer: Periodic foamy urine is quite common and in an otherwise healthy young adult likely of no concern. Most common benign causes include: rapid urination, concentrated urine/dehydration, reaction to toilet bowl cleaner, presence of semen in urine. Possible significant causes include excess protein in urine which can be a sign of kidney disease, and a uti. If persistent, recommend a urinalysis.
