Relax: I frequently prescribe escitalopram. Less waiting for effect of decreasing depression as well as anxiety. And infrequent side effects.

Omeprazole ; Lexapro (escitalopram): Omeprazole can slow your liver's breakdown of Lexapro (escitalopram). When using them together, you may find that the 5 mg escitalopram dose is fine for you rather than having to move up to 10mg. It is safe to use them together, with awareness. If you note any sedation or other issues, call your doctor and ask advice on the escitalopram dose.
