Average 20-30/min: If there is more rapid breathing with cough/congesion and no improvement with nasal clearance-see your pediatrician. It may indeed be a bronchiolitis with the cold and deeper cough yor describe. Rapid respirations may suggest a pneumonia if fairly ill appearing.
