A member asked:

Does wisdom teeth removal make your face narrower after all the swelling is gone?

Not typically: Your face should return to its normal configuration after the teeth are removed and the swelling goes down. It is possible that if there was some preoperative swelling or the teeth were situated in such a way that the face was more full in appearance that once removed that fullness is lost....And the face appears narrower.

Wisdom teeth: Generally no, however if the molars in front or premolars were removed they would. In fact it would make your cheek bones more pronounced as the cheek area would cave in.
