Masks anemia only: High folate (folic acid) can mask megaloblastic anemia caused by B12 deficiency but does not affect B12 levels. The high B12 levels you have are proof that you don't have B12 deficiency. I don't know what ida is. Hair loss ; sob can have many causes. It sounds like you are being evaluated for possible causes.
