Trisome 13: Trisomy 13 (or Patau Syndrome) is a genetic disorder. The effected person has 3 sets of genetic material from Chromosome 13 – instead of 2. This can lead to symptoms like: small head, cleft lip, cleft palate, additional fingers/ toes, abnormalities of limbs, low intelligence, hernias, etc.
