My wife is 13 weeks pregnant and woke up this morning with a blood shot eye on the right eye only. i would like to know if there is any concern to get her to a medical facility or is there any specific meds that she can take with her being pregnant?

Agree with Dr. R: If there is no pain, the vision is not affected, you may watch and wait. Rupture of small blood vessels is not uncommon and is harmless. If she develops a discharge, has problems with vision or swelling of the eyelids, see a doctor. Wish you and your wife good health!
