Asthma meds: Seretide is a combination medication that is used as a controller medication and needs to be taken daily. Ventolin is a rescue medication, it works fast but does not last long and does not treat inflammation but can be of great help in an attack. You need seretide to keep things under control and can use ventolin as needed when things act up on you.
