Clonazepam and moods. i am wondering if taking 1mg-2mg per day would be possible considering the effects it has on moods (depressive)?

I am not sure what : You are asking. You should not take Klonopin (clonazepam) unless it is prescribed for a legitimate anxiety disorder. The dose you are talking about is average. . While it is a central nervous system depressant, that does not mean that it is a mood depressant. I have seen reports of that, but they have to be rare because in clinical practice i just don't encounter it. At high doses that are used in europe iit is actually used as a mood stabilizerfor bipolar depression and mania.A central nervous system depressant is a medication that can potentially suppress the breathing drive and cause difficulties in that regard. It is not a reference to mood depressing effects.Best wishes. Make sure that you are also involved in therapy.
