No: Syphilis is caused by a completely different organism than a cold sore. Syphilis is a bacterial infection caused by the organism "treponema pallidum" and transmitted sexually. Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex i virus and do not respond to antibiotics.

Syphilis: This is extremely unlikely. Anything is possible but this spirochaete is not usually transmitted through inanimate objects, but rather directly from person to person. My advice would be to stop smoking, do not have unprotected sex and check your serology for std"s if you have had this. Happy new year.
