Not likely but...: In theory, if the abdomen guard were in direct contact with the skin of a person with a secondary syphillis rash and then immediately after came in contact with your skin, it could transmit but this is very unlikely. Syphilis is traditionally only transmitted sexually or through contact directly with either the chancre or the rash.
