Either: Your uterine cycle is under the control of the pills and not your ovaries. When you stop the pills, you will have a period. In the absence of taking additional pills, your ovaries will begin to respond to stimulation from the brain again. The earlier in the pill cycle you stop the pills, the greater the chance for some abnormal bleeding. That is the best argument to finish the pack.
