A member asked:

I was diagnosis with a pituitary adenoma but haven't had a period in 2 years. can i still have babies one day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Hi. Not enough info. Is the pituitary adenoma making any hormone in excess (such as prolactin)? Is the adenoma disrupting normal pituitary function by mass effect? You profile says your age is 49, so your periods stopped at 47. That wouldn't be considered premature menopause even if your adenoma has NO effect on your periods. Having a baby in your 50's is unwise for many, many good reasons.
