Not necessarily...: I have patients that take one or the other... Or both! it depends on what you're treating... Narcolepsy? Add/adhd? Sometime you have to carefully conduct a trial, at different times, and take good notes, get others' observations... See which benefits you most, with the least side effects or risk. I'd definitely recommend that you review this with a knowledgable psychiatrist!
