A member asked:

159lbs when first started vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) after maybe 1 month became 148lbs & 2 weeks later 138lbs after adding adderall. currently 135lbs. is this abnormal?

Common, NOT normal: Hi! Vyvanse is a stimulant that is frequently used to treat ADHD as well as over-eating disorders; however, it can cause unintended weight loss also (anorexia). You should discuss with the doctor who prescribed it; they will want to know how much you typically eat each day and whether this has changed since being on the meds. Also things like changes in skin and hair can help with diagnosis.
