Rare..: It would be very uncommon to see you infected with any disease just for the fact of sharing a cigarette, unless you knew that this person suffers from a particular disease. Cold sores are very common and will probably go away in a few days. Lip balms will help recover. If no improvement after 10 days, see a doctor.
