Wondering?: Steroid injection is not indicated for a cold nor is antibiotic. I suspect that the dry mouth is from mouth-breathing due to the nasal obstruction and the swelling under your tongue may be from the viral infection. If the problem goes beyond 10 days or you are having breathing difficulties, consider consulting another physician.
