Not exaclty but...: Lack of sleep affects levels of the hormones leptin and ghrelin. Getting less than 7 hours of sleep a nite is associated with weight gain. However, there is also evidence that those who sleep more than 9 hours a nite also have weight gain so sleeping more than 8 hours won't help! see http://www.Webmd.Com/sleep-disorders/excessive-sleepiness-10/lack-of-sleep-weight-gain and my comment.
