My md ordered a non fasting lipid panel on me & triglycerides were 409. is this accurate since i was not fasting? she said i didn't have to be fasting.

Triglycerides: Hello. I'm not sure why your test was a non fasting lipid panel. The 409 reading may be a result of what you had to eat that day before your test. It's best to review these results with your doctor. He/she can review your trends in your lipids and see if your diet needs adjusting. Good luck.
