A member asked:

How do fire-eaters survive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not well: Fire "eaters" do not get burnt because they pass their burning devices into parts of their body well lubricated with liquids and oils which are slow to heat and protect the underlying tissues. However they usually use items with burning hydrocarbons and over the long run will get into trouble with the ingestion of these toxic chemicals.
