Is it safe to use toothpaste / mouthwash after wisdom tooth extraction?

Not yet : I tell my patients to wait 2week before brushing in that area, and no rinsing for 48 hours! not doing these things can cause problems. Happy new year!

Extractions: Avoid using mouthwashes that contain alcohol as this can cause pain and delay healing. Regular toothpaste ( not "whitening", or "total care" can have additives that can make your teeth more sensitive, even without extraction.
