Not cancer: The cervix closing has more to do with your collagen and how you form scars then it does with cancer. I'm assuming your dilation and biopsy were normal. Not much you can do to prevent. It just happens to some women. Be sure to follow up with your gynecologist and follow all their recommendations. If family h/o uterine, ovarian or breast cancer then ^ surveillance.
