Your boyfriend: Needs a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to determine the nature of his difficulties. What you're describing actually sounds more like bipolar or schizoaffective disorder than schizophrenia. He could also be abusing drugs. If he's mistreating you and unwilling to seek psychiatric help, you might reconsider your relationship with him. Stay safe!

Hallucinations?: It may not be called sz w/out some other symptoms, but it is not going to be easy or even safe to be too close to him. He may be a boy but he may not be able to be a friend - certainly not a lover. If you really know parts of him to value, try to suggest he find help but be very careful or you could bring about a tragic situation. "i do like you and wish you could be easier to be with.".
