Anxiety vs CP: I have found that anxiety can cause palpitations and chest pain, and that palpatations can cause the feeling of anxiety and then chest pain. If you are on atenolol for a fast heart rate, the high rate might be making you feel anxious--which releases more stress hormones and causes more anxiety and a higher heart rate. Have you had an ekg, echo, ; tilt table test? Doc ruled out pots?
