LIPOMA treatment: Lipomas are benign 'fatty tumors' that are very common. They need no treatment unless enlarging rapidily or painful. Your doctor may decide to remove it or refer you to another doctor (surgeon or dermatologist) . If very painful, other diagnoses are possible: an abcess (boil) or infected sebaceous cyst. Hope you are better soon!

Have it removed: Lipomas are benign, but they can cause pain. See a surgeon to see if removing it is an option.
