Yes: Breast cancer can spread to virtually any site in the body, including the lungs. Most common is spread to lymph nodes in the armpit which are commonly removed with the primary tumor. Next most common is spread to bones(25%), lung (20%), brain and liver (15% each). Cure becomes less likely with spread to other organs but is not impossible and patients can live for many years with spread.
