Main ones would be: Those involving the head, chest, abdomen/pelvis or the spine, along with extremities injuries. All sorts of combinations occur. Bleeding excessively, from any one or multiple injuries can, by itself, be critical. The treatment in the first 24-48 hrs is vital for a good outcome, specifically the golden hour, ie, the 1st hour.
