Wear ; tear of the -: End part of the supraspinatus tendon (sst) due to minor repetitive traumas to the shoulder over years ; years. These are the earlier stages before a tear occurs. Treatment is nsaids, steroids, pt for strengthening exercises, etc. If no improvement then further options like a scope surgery might be needed. See your local orthopod. Good luck.
