Knee Effusion: Sounds like a knee effusion which is fluid collection increase in the knee. If its really bad, you may need to have your knee drained. Occasionally a steroid injection may help decrease the pain and fluid collection. I would have you checked out by a sports medicine physician or orthopedic physician to make a true evaluation.
