CAN BE MANAGED IN MI: This is a disorder that can be managed any children hospital or a department of a university hospital.I will discuss the case with the doctors treating the infant and I am sure there are competent doctors in minneapolis to manage this not so uncommon condition also if you live in minneapolis for you to move to cinccinati does not make sence.Stay where you are and work with the doctors.Good luck.

Ask about ...: ... Case volumes. If your are sure the diagnosis is correct (and as it was a university program I am assuming they see many referrals and thus am assuming diagnosis is correct) then the treatment is going to be surgical. The key question then is how many hirschprung surgeries the specific surgeon (not the program) has done. In this case more is better.
