A member asked:

How do you know if your back pain is caused by your kidneys and/ or any other problems? i've had mris/cts, would that show up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Back pain: Usually assicuated symptoms help with diagnosis . If coming from kidney there will be blood in urine, burning upon urination, pain from loin to groin. Other cause is musculoskeletal pain which is associated with pain on movement , relief on staying still, worse at night. Hope this helps
