Syncope: Syncope (passing out) is a rare presentation for patients with svt or other narrow complex tachyarrhythmias. I don't think the antibiotic had anything to do with it. There are many causes of syncope, but given your cardiac history, it may be related to your heart. Metoprolol can cause syncope, but uncommonly. The first measure i would take would be to evaluate the functioning of your pacemaker.

Cardiologist: See your cardiologist! the sips of a drink and the Amoxicillin probably did not cause your episode. With a pacemaker history, that episode requires further analysis by your cardiologist to make sure it wasn't an arrhythmia. Good luck!
