See dentist: There is a definite problem with your gums. Stop using any toothpaste. Rinse with warm salt water several times a day; if salt addition burns, then just warm water. Peeling gums: this would mean gums are very unhealthy. Could be a vitamin deficiency from poor diet, improper chewing, improper brushing. In any case, get ye to a good general dentist.

Switching toothpaste: Some people are sensitive to certain types of toothpastes. Try switching to toothpastes that do not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (sls), such as sensodyne toothpaste. It should heal in a few days.
