Better ask cardio: When our patients have arrhythmia, we do send them to cardio to try to elicit the arrhythmia so they can be determined and treated. One of the ways that is done is asking patients to exercise under monitored conditions. It is best to ask your doctor or a cardiologist if your arrhythmia are concerning for that matter.

Not necessarily: Many arrhythmias at rest are "over driven" by exercise and subside. To properly evaluate the significance of an arrhythmia, one must consider the full picture: risk of coronary disease, overall heart health, electrolyte and metabolic abnormalities and any medications taken.
