A member asked:

I get chest pain usually in morning when i try to wake up or try to turn or stretch. what is it ? why is it happening?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sounds muscular: It surely sounds like a muscular type pain. You have intercostal muscles between your ribs, pectoral muscles overlying your chest, and costochondral junctions that attach your ribs to the sternum (breast bone) - any of those can become sore and act up when you move and stretch.
