Does oxymetazoline eye drops help with burning, itchy eyes, or only to remove redness?

Anti-allergic: This is an anti-histamine which has some degree of effectiveness (it used to be a prescription only item). It will help with burning and itching that is of allergic origin. Any redness removed will be due to the anti-allergic effectiveness.
