Find a way: Asking a doctor to allow you to make a bad choice is not reasonable. Set a reminder on your smart-phone or prepare the night before bottles of water to drink is the way to go. If you don't drink enough fluids, you increase your risk for kidney stones, bad breath, constipation, etc. Put a rubber band on your wrist to remind yourself to drink, but find a way to get at least 50 ounces a day of fluid.
