Whiten your teeth: The most effective and least costly way is to have your dentist may custom trays which are then used at home. You apply bleaching material into the trays and wear them a few hours. This is then repeated daily until you are happy with the results. A quicker and more costly approach to have your dentist do power bleaching in office. Teeth are isolated, bleach material applied, maybe 2 hour session.

Bleaching teeth: Crest white strips can work, though they only cover the front 6 teeth, so if there is a big color change, it may be very noticeable compared to the back teeth. Avoid using any product that requires a "pre rinse" as this is usually acidic and can destroy tooth structure as well as make them more sensitive. A kit custom made by a dentist is the most effective method.
