TN: Trigeminal neuralgia is a relatively uncommon disease. The pain of idiopathic tn occurs unilaterally in the distribution of one or more divisions of the trigeminal nerve. Pain is electric shock-like, sharp , stabbing, lasting a few seconds to one or two minutes which are separated by pain-free intervals of varying lengths.
