Silly question but should you keep your toilet lid up or down? mines usually up and i've heard that you should always close it but i never do.

Does not matter: It is a personal choice men tend to keep the lid up most of the time.And women like to keep the lid down it does does not matter as long as it is kept clean and that is important if you are sharing the toilet seat with others.

Personal preference: I do not know of any medical studies regarding this age old question. If you have young children that may fall into the toilet (top heavy infants) etc or pets that may drink out of it, then best to keep the seat down.

You are OK: I have never heard that this matters. There are many other things in one's life that will affect health much more that the position of your toilet lid.
