Gag reflux: I presume you mean brushing your teeth. Go easy. There are nerves near the back of the throat/tongue that are related to the gag reflex. With vomiting, comes a reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus, throat, and mouth. This acid is strong and can erode/irritate things in its path. Hope this is helpful.
