Bronchiolitis: This is a condition common to infants and toddlers caused by a number of different viruses, most commonly one called rsv. It causes swelling, spasm and mucous production by the very tiny branches of the airways just before they enter into the lungs. There is cough, wheezing and in worse cases poor air flow to the lungs leading to baby not getting enough oxygen. Sick usually a few days to weeks.
