Symptoms?: Most practitioners have abandoned the beta-adrenergic-agonist syrups. The efficacy is low and side effects are high. If beta-adrenergics are required experts recommend inhaler or nebulizer. Having said that, bronchiolitis is usually self-limited. If he is eating, and his breathing is comfortable, i would not do anything except allow him to recover. If he is more ill, consider another physician.
