How dependent can your body become on imodium (loperamide)? is it addictive? very bad post infectious ibs-d for 13 years now. need to take imodium (loperamide) 1-3x/week.

Not Addictive: Immodium is not addicted and can be safely taken 1-3 times a week.But you have ibs for 13 years and you are only 25 years old you should limit dairy products, fruits and artificial sweetners like sorbitol or xylitol and you should have regular follow up with your doctors.
