A member asked:

If someone is obsessively counting calories and eating 500 a day, working out, and losing ten pounds a week do they likely have an eating disorder?

Yes, very possibly: 500 calories a day is not a sustainable food plan. Losing 10 pounds a week is also not healthy, because this person is likely also losing muscle. An eating disorder is very possible in this situation. If this is you, and you are truly 12 years old, you need your parents' help to see a doctor asap.
